What I did in this week?

     In this week I studied, learned about USA culture and many things. This week I studied every day except Friday through Sunday. On Friday we went to Dodger Stadium and watched the game, we lost but it was funny because I saw my first baseball game. After the game finished an there was a fireworks show and they were very beautiful.
Then on Saturday we went to Gene Autry Museum, it was a museum about the old west and was a bit boring but a good time. I sat most of the day more or less at the end in my group I went to see a movie in the museum. On Sunday we went to a church, Pomona First Baptist Church, worship was a blessing and I liked the preaching.
I appreciate many things in America, especially citizens because the people here are very friendly and many people are Christians. I appreciate what happened in this month, I found new friends in SUPP and the best teacher I could have MR. Shaw.
I don´t miss many things about my home, but I miss my family and my friends there but I like being here. While in USA I learned many things that were useful in my life, how to appreciate my family more, to appreciate who is next to you and many other things. Well this is my last week in USA and I want to have more fun than the previous weeks before I go back to Argentina.

Learning in SUPP...

     I learn many things, I learn about Valentine Day, Swing Dance and Christmas Day.
I learn what do you do in Valentine Day, example you make a letter to someone who love, give chocolates and more... In Argentina when is Valentine Day a lot of things happen. In Argentina we don't dance the Swing Dance, but we dance a tango but is a traditional dance and we don't dance every times. In Christmas Day in USA make and decorate cookie, I'm Korean and in Korea when is Christmas many family's make a cookies and decorate or meet all family and dinner, but in Argentina only we meet all family and dining no more that than.
Now I learn about others stundent in SUPP, example about of taiwanese guys, is very fun talking in chinese ^^ and I learn about of self of taiwanese guys are very reliante of his parents. And I learn word in chinese but not good... Well, that is all for this time. I want to learn more about American Culture and Taiwanese Culture ^^

Activities... This week

     This week I studied every day exept monday, as it was day independende. I study from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Later I after finished study everyday. I had free time from 3:00pm to 5:45pm. But on friday it was different because I went to Hollywood, I went to Madame Tussands, was a famous museum where you see famous mannequins. More later, I went to eat the dinner to mc donalds, but it was different from Argentina, because the meat is more delicius and after lunch I went to gift house and then I returned to the university. In the saturday I went to Getty Musseum, I saw many interesting things in the museum, had a good landscape and dined there. Then we saw a concert in the night at the museum, This week was fun.

      

My First Impression....

     When I get APU, I was very nervous about meeting my roommate, as would be classes but then I met my roommate, and know how were the classes, I had to know even more people. Then with time I began to know everyone, I met my class teacher, now I feel more alleviated. Now I can talk quietly with my friends. They are very sociable.

Experiences in SUPP 2011

     When we got to APU all people were greeted with an affectionate welcome, and later we went to eat at a restaurant near the university, in the United States there much spicy food. Also we went to a park for the day of independence, we saw a beautiful fireworks show. Later we had to take the placement test to define what level we were going to be. I am in the intermediate level, intermediate level teacher is very funny and good, her name is Brian Shaw is very good person.

Thinks.....Where am I ?

     When I heard about Summer University Preparation Program (SUPP) in Azusa Pacific University (APU) thought it would be boring, I had to study hard, I don't want to come to SUPP, but I decided to come to SUPP with my friends. I now see that it isn't a waste of time, is not boring, you can socialize with others people from different countries. I see now that was the opposite of what I thought, of course you have to study but the teachers are fun and the classes are more fun. And now I made many friends at university from another countries. I like beign in SUPP!!!
